About me

Mechanical engineer, physics major, part-time manufacturer of very sharp objects.

I'm Hateem — a Mechanical Engineering and Physics double major at Vanderbilt who got into this because I wanted to know why things fail, and stayed because the answer is usually geometry, heat, or somebody skipping a tolerance.

My work runs from cold plates for AI processors to HVAC risers in Brooklyn towers to surgical instruments that leave a factory floor with my name on the acceptance sheet. Physics keeps me honest about the assumptions; manufacturing keeps me honest about everything else.
